Biographie : Associate Professor of History at Berry College where he is the 2014 recipient of the Mary S. and Samuel Poe Carden Award for outstanding teaching, scholarship, and service. He has published a number of books, journal articles, and book chapters on nineteenth- and twentieth-century European overseas empire. He has been a participant in the National History Center's Decolonization Seminar in Washington, D.C., a Wolfsonian-FIU Fellow in Miami Beach, Florida, and a Belgian American Educational Foundation Fellow in Brussels, Belgium.
