The invisible circulation of Sony's texts in an evergrowing circle of pen-friends was, during the author's life, a key aspect of a dynamic of writing which refused to be shut in any predetermined social field and was constantly wavering between literature, religion and politics. Starting from a fascination for the scriptural practice, this work developped itself out of a painful experience of social dissolution in the postcolonial Congo". |
