26.10.1959 – 11.09.2018. Epouse de Allen F. Roberts. A consacré sa thèse de doctorat aux arts luba. A plus tard rejoint Susan Vogel au Cener for African Arts qui deviendra le Museum for African Arts à New York. A notamment dirigé l'exposition Secrecy : African Arts that Conceal and Reveal (1993) et Exhibition-ism and Memory : Luba Arts and the Making of History, A Saint in the City: Sufi Arts of Urban Senegal...Nationalité
